The challenge is to help Shane, Ben and Jason all have sustained a serious brain injury ride the Central Otago Rail Trail
Otago
Shane, Ben & Jason live in supported accommodation after sustaining a serious brain injury. With the help of their support workers from Southern Rehabilitation Services they are going to try riding 50km a day to complete the rail trail. Along the way they intend to continue fundraising as well as raising awareness about brain injury in our community.
The Brain Injury Association of Otago support people like Ben, Jason and Shane who have sustained a brain injury. We fully support them in their challenge recognizing the huge physical & mental effort it will take.
We also appreciate their efforts in raising awareness about brain injury
Brain Injury Otago helps support and navigate clients through their brain injury to achieve a fulfilling life. This can range from managing activities of daily living, reconnecting in the community, returning to work or continuing education.
