The Home & School Committee, with the support of the staff, have decided to do a Challenge Week as our major fundraiser for the year.
Canterbury
OPAWA Challenge Week ( 3 - 9 August ) will encourage students to try a range of activities aimed to improve personal wellbeing in five different areas:
* Our Community – be there, connect, get know our community
* Push Play – get moving, enjoy a physical challenge, be active
* Awaken your Awareness – notice the little things, take a moment, what brings you joy?
* What’s New – try something new, look for opportunities to learn
* A Helping Hand – be generous, give your time
Students are challenged to complete one activity from each of the five categories during Challenge Week. These could be done in class time, break time or at home.
Students ask family, friends & neighbours to sponsor them based on the number of challenges that they can complete.
Funds raised will be used to purchase new outdoor playground equipment.
