Charlee's journey to America for life changing surgery.
Otago
Charlee is the older twin to Jorja. Born with CP caused by PVL in utero.
With having this operation Charlee will live a near normal life.
The operation is performed by an amazing Doctor by the name of Dr Parks. He has performed over 3000 of these operations and has changed so many lives.
Having this operation will not only charnge Charlee's life but also the entire family.
She struggles with the basics like getting dressed, sitting on the floor, sitting on a seat, walking, running, riding her bike and just about anything that a 3.5 year old can do.
I could go on and on but i would never stop typing.
I am Charlee's Mum and am trying to do the best i can for her to help her have a long happy healthy life.

Well what can we say?.......
THANK YOU!!
We are 2 nights away from heading back home to New Zealand, and we couldn't be more happier with how this entire journey has gone!
Charlee has been absolutely amazing with what she has been through. Her strength and determination is just mind blowing. She is loving being able to get out everyday and walk with a little more ease each day. The weather has been fantastic for the last few days so we are truly enjoying that before we hit the cold again.
Thank you to each and everyone of you who has made a donation in every way (here, money collection tis, animals, raffle, quiz nights, movie nights, scooter ride and everything I have forgotten to mention) and followed us on Facebook. Without your continued support we would not be where we are today and Charlee would not have the quality of life that she so deserves.
Again, Duncan and I thank you all so very much. We hope you can continue to follow Charles journey as its not over yet and we have something else in the pipeline that we would love you to follow and show your support.
Warmest regards
