Lets show Chase how much we care and that we believe in him to make a positive recovery.
Auckland
This page is for Chase Allan, our great grandson, grandson, nephew, and cousin.
Travis’s son Chase and two of his friends were involved in a tragic accident on the 3rd of May, where he came in contact with overhead high voltage powerlines. He was airlifted to hospital in critical condition, suffering from electrical burns to 30% of his body, requiring urgent lifesaving surgery, and since has had 14 surgeries which have unfortunately involved the loss of limbs.
Chase is an incredibly outgoing, smart, athletic, and driven 14-year-old young man who has shown unimaginable resilience and strength. Chase has since transferred to Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, London where Travis and Chase’s Mum live and continue navigating what is and will be a very challenging time ahead.
To all of you that know the Allan brother’s that have shared the field, diamond and school with them, we are asking for your help and support for Chase, Trav and his Mum who are a long way from family.
This young guy hasn’t let this stop him or bring him down, but he has a long and difficult path ahead of him.
We are incredibly grateful for any donation, big or small, that will be used to support Chase with the ongoing costs of medical, rehabilitation, prosthetic limbs, as well as giving family the opportunity to come and provide much needed support and love.
Thank you for helping our Chasey boy to keep being unstoppable.

Update 29 August 2025
Many friends & extended families have been reaching out to see how Chase is doing so we thought it would be timely to share with you all his progress to date before the Give a Little page finishes in 3 weeks
It’s hard to put into words how deeply grateful we are for the overwhelming love, support, and generosity that many of you have shown our family over the past three months.
Our world was turned upside down when Chase was involved in a tragic accident that resulted in the loss of both legs below the knee. It has been the most challenging time we’ve ever faced
Chase has had excellent care, and has begun a focused rehabilitation journey, despite all the challenges and pain he is having to endure he continues to inspire us every day.
We are beyond proud to share that Chase is now up and moving with the help of his prosthetic legs and his determination is nothing short of incredible. He’s learning, adapting, and growing stronger with each passing day. In fact, he’s even planning to return to school in the coming weeks, a goal he set early on and is now on track to achieve.
This road hasn’t been easy but your continued support has brought light to some very dark days.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for walking this journey with us
Any further donations will go towards making his journey so much easier
Again, our sincere thanks with love Allan family
