Chasing Ava's Dream

So we made it to St Louis thanks to everyone for their support!

Ava had her surgery last Thursday, it all went well. She spent 3 days on bed rest then started therapy following that. Today she has been discharged from hospital and the therapy continues!

Ava is walking, albeit a bit wobbly! But the more she does the better she gets.

We are in St Louis for a further 3 weeks, hoping to visit the zoo and Science Centre between our visits for therapy. She will also have further surgery next week to lengthen her calf muscle which is just an overnight stay in hospital.

Ava can't wait to get home!
