    Dear valued donors,

    We have decided to extend our fundraiser until the end of 2016. This is because we have a number of people in the wings who are interested in becoming donors, and who need a place where they can make a donation should they decide to do so. You can still help us to increase our donations by sharing this givealittle page with your family and friends (if you have not already done so).

    Things are going very well with the rebuild: the scaffolding is removed from the building, and the insulation is going in. There will be ways to get practically involved in preparing the building for the opening (working bees and such), so if you happen to be living locally and want to take part please do so. I'll post updates when these events are taking place. The first to mark in your diary is on Sunday 23/10/16: we need to get the interior of the building cleaned up before the builders put in the jib and the plasterers start their work.   • Temple opening dates!

    Dear Valued Donors,

    We want to let you know that the dates for the temple opening festival have been finalised: please mark in your calendars 3, 4 and 5 of March, 2017. We hope you can join us for this awesome event.

    We also want to let you know that things are going great with the rebuild of the temple. The externals of the building are now more or less complete: the walls are all up, the roof on and the windows in. Very soon the builders will be commencing the internal building work. The building is open and spacious... and it's set to be really gorgeous, not to mention practical. And warm (very important here in Christchurch in the winter)!

    We would once again like to extend an invitation to each of you to join us for the temple opening.
