I am part of a special group of young men in the Westlake Boys' High School Distance Running Team. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to Kenya in 2024 to train alongside some of the world's elite distance running athletes. This not only requires commitment and dedication to our running training but in addition, to be part of the tour, the lads are required to meet a fundraising goal of half of the tour cost through their own work and fundraising efforts. One or our team fundraisers is a 24-hour run. My goal is to complete the maximum allowed distance of 30km during this challenge.
