Claire is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and wants to use this epic hike to support her friends Richard and Kirstie who volunteer in Cambodia.
Wellington
It has always been a dream of mine (Claire) to climb to the roof of Africa.
In June 2019 I will be doing just that as I summit Mt Kilimanjaro.
Rather than being like Sir Edmund Hillary and getting to the summit to say “we knocked the b*s**rd off” I have decided to make a difference with my climb and will be raising money for Interserve partners Richard and Kirstie. Richard and Kirstie are currently language learning in Southeast Asia so they can live among locals while they help up-skill teachers and empower vulnerable young women.
Please help me in this endeavour!
Now to make it to the top...remembering “Slow is the motion, success is the target, if you remember that as you walk you will be fine. Just keep walking and you will reach the highest mountain in Africa.”
Interserve is interdenominational mission organisation serving in some of the hardest places in Asia and the Arab world.
The money raised will go directly towards living costs for Richard and Kirstie in Cambodia.
