Codys fundraising to replace stolen property and lift his spirits

Cody is 31 years old.

He lives with his elderly grandparents in rural northland who are themselves struggling.Cody has overcome a lot of challenges including epilepsy and a severe stutter and learning disability.

Codys mother has a disability and is unable to care for cody.She became pregnant with cody while with the IHC.

Cody has always wanted to fit in and be just like everyone else.He has never had the opportunity to get a job but would love one.He saved up and bought a lawnmower weed eater and chainsaw to start a little venture doing odd jobs for neighbours and friends He cuts firewood for his grandparents and does a few hours work every few weeks.

This gives him a real sense of worth.

Now the bad news.

He was abducted at gun point during a home invasion several years ago and assaulted but managed to escape.

Cody had all his tools stolen approximately two years ago.

One year ago his tools were again stolen.

Yesterday someone broke in and stole some of his tools again this time in the afternoon while his grandparents were resting..Although not a large amount in value this time he has lost a lot in the past which he has had to replace.

Donating a little would really lift his spirits

Cody is on a benefit and has very little money and his grandparents are on a small pension.

This is really sad as Cody now says he doesn't trust anyone and i would love to show him that most people are kind and caring.
