Congo is taking on the iconic Coast to Coast race to raise $12,100 for the Nelson Tasman Hospice.

I'm Gareth “Congo” and I'm no stranger to fighting the impossible. A few years ago, cancer nearly ended my story. Against all odds, my willpower, my support system, and my sheer determination brought me back to full health.

Today, living opposite the Nelson Tasman Hospice, there is a daily reminder of the care, dignity, and hope they bring to families in their hardest moments.

Now, Congo is taking on the iconic Coast to Coast race to raise $12,100 for Hospice.

Use of funds

Nelson Tasman Hospice needs $12,300 every day to keep operating, yet faces a $4.5 million annual shortfall . Our Goal: $150,000 Your support keeps Hospice open another 13 days. Thirteen days of love, care, and dignity for families across our region.
