20 UoA Architecture students bring you 'Continuum,' an urban installation featured in the 3rd Annual FESTA exhibition in Christchurch.
Nationwide
On the 25th of October 2014 Continuum is participating in FESTA, the Festival of Transitional Architecture. We seek to bring life back in Christchurch's city centre, by participating in a one-night-only display of multiple installations.
‘Continuum’ is an installation that focuses on the idea of
experiencing an extreme perspective view. This project aims to create floating shards of light pulled to a single vanishing
point, creating a subverted perspective of infinity. We hope to create this by using programmed LED lights attached to parachord. We will also be hosting 'Excuse my French' crepes underneath our installation.
We would be incredibly grateful for any form of donation as our project is estimated to cost upwards of $20,000! As a student group we are unable to self-fund the project, so your help would mean so much to us.
Thank you so much for your support!
