Support Tony - beloved father, grandad, and community hero - as he bravely battles bowel cancer and needs help funding vital treatment.
Helensville, Auckland
He’s a loving brother, father, and proud grandad. A true Helensville local, he’s given so much to our community over the years - now it’s our turn to give back.
For 35 years, he’s served with the Helensville Fire Brigade, always the first to step up when others needed help. Tony is well known in the local community and wider area for his friendly, helpful attitude and for his voluntary time to local pre-schools, Primary School, Kaipara College, Helensville Rugby Club, Helensville Athletics Club, and the Local Waka Club supporting countless families and kids through the years.
He’s not just a familiar face - he’s a local legend. Always taking the time to sit and chat with folks when out and about.
Now, he’s facing one of the toughest battles of his life: bowel cancer. Treatment includes chemotherapy and costly therapy drugs not fully covered by the public system. Your donation will help ease the financial burden on our family so we can focus on what matters most - time, healing, and hope.
Let’s rally behind someone who’s spent his whole life helping others. Every dollar makes a difference.
Let’s help our mate, our fireman, our coach - our legend, fight this.
I’m Tony’s daughter, and I’m organising this page to support him through his cancer treatment.
All funds will go towards Tony’s chemotherapy and essential drug treatments.
We are having the treatment with Harbour cancer care & wellness, North Shore. The treatment is called encorafenib and cetuximab, plus administration and administering costs.
