Due the COVID19 pandemic, the government implied the obligatory shut down of all non-essential businesses and services throughout the state of Sao Paulo, which is home to some 41 million people.

A large part of the population cannot afford to live without any work or without a financial help from government.

A project to provide emergency AID grants of BR 600 total per month for three months (almost NZD 190) to informal workers, was approved, but it will only be granted to those who have a monthly income of up to half the minimum wage.

The country’s population is over 200 million people and its database accuracy is not the best which means that the most vulnerable communities are not getting any financial help.

Those Organizations bellow are helping the periphery of the city, the less developed areas of Sao Paulo.
