Notwithstanding the tragic circumstances, most Kiwis understand that ACC will meet the costs of funeral expenses and legitimate immediate expenses for the family. If someone helps Mum fill out the paperwork for the ACC Accidental Death Unit, I think you'll find that they are compassionate and efficient in their response.
