Creating a community centred play cafe in wellington, PlayNest

Hello, I am Jaymez Kyra, the founder of PlayNest. We are currently starting the exciting creation journey of PlayNest, a community centred play cafe for under 6yr olds, right here in Wellington. To make this concept a reality for our local community, we need your help with donations.

PlayNest is a concept for a community-centred play cafe: a recreational space for the community. As a parent of young children, it can be a daily struggle to find places that support both caregivers and children as they grow.

Our mission is to provide an accessible, welcoming space in central Wellington where parents can take a break, children can learn and be challenged through play, and families can build meaningful new connections. We want everyone to leave feeling fulfilled, supported and connected, without a high price barrier.

Every financial contribution directly funds purchase of the play equipment, cafe fittings including plumbing for bathrooms and kitchen equipment, furniture, lease of the space and the legal creation of PlayNest. Overall, every dollar raised will go towards the opening of PlayNest and any money after that will go towards covering costs of operation so we can keep prices down.
