Help cover our court at Hobsonville School

At Hobsonville School, we are fundraising to complete a permanent shade canopy over our multi-use court, creating a welcoming, all-weather space for students, staff, whānau and our wider community to enjoy all year round.

Stage 1 is complete, with the framework now installed. We are fundraising for stage 2 - the canopy membrane.

Our court is currently used mainly for basketball and sport, but Auckland’s unpredictable weather often limits when it can be enjoyed. A permanent canopy will transform this area into a vibrant outdoor hub where learning, movement, connection and community can happen every day, whatever the weather.

This new space will provide opportunities for assemblies, performances and celebrations, physical education, sport and recreation and community events. We believe children thrive when they have safe, inspiring spaces where they can learn, play and connect. This canopy will become the heart of our school, giving students more opportunities to be active, creative and engaged while creating a space our whole community can share.

We are so close to making this vision a reality. Every donation, big or small, will help us complete this project and create a space that will benefit our students and community.
