Crossways Community Creche - Help us repair our roof!

    Our fundraising campaign comes to an end today and we have a new roof! A huge thank-you to all our amazing supporters, and fundraisers. Thanks to you, our tamariki have a warm safe environment to continue their amazing learning journeys.

    At the outset of this effort, we were worried it was going to be too big a goal. However, even in a hard year, our community has come together and we’ve been able to achieve this target of a new roof, just in time for Christmas!

    We also want to acknowledge Hamish McIntosh and his family. Earlier this year, Hamish died unexpectedly in his sleep. In lieu of flowers, his family asked that donations be made to the Crossways roofing fund, and the generosity shown by his friends, colleagues and family contributed greatly to our fundraising goal.

    Hamish touched many lives at Crossways and he is greatly missed by all of us.

    We have been deeply honoured by the generosity of our community over this past year in helping us fundraise for our very much needed new roof.

  • Our roof repair is booked in! and now new Tax gift!

    Hi everyone,

    We have some exciting updates. The work on our roof has been been booked in for later this year by the wonderful people at Element Roofing!! More information about them to come soon.

    With our grant of $10,000 from the City Council Heritage fund and our fundraising up to $7,225 we are just past the half way mark of our goal to raise $30,000. Woohoo!!

  • Almost a third of the way there!

    Woohoo! We have reached over $7000 in donations. Which puts us a third of a way to our goal of $20,000 by Christmas!!! We are blown away by the generosity of our community.

  • Woweee! We have nearly reached $5000

    We are so overwhelmed at the generosity and love being shown to Crossways. We can't believe we have nearly reached $5000.

    We had an exciting pledge today from Urban Yoga NZ.

    This Saturday at Urban Yoga (NZ), 9:30 - 10:30am, they will be holding a koha yoga class to give back to the Wellington community. All proceeds for this class will go towards our roof fund!!!

    We are so grateful to Urban Yoga for this generosity.
