Raising funds to import a flexmort cuddle cot to Lower Hutt hospital this will give grieving parents more time with their Angels.

I've set up this page in the hopes to raise enough money from the community to import a cuddle cot for our local hospital maternity ward. A cuddle cot is a cooling system which is placed into a bassinet / Moses basket to let parents of angel babies spend an extra couple of days with their child before saying their last good byes. at present there is only a few of these in New Zealand due to the cost of these systems . These are not made in New Zealand therefore need to be imported in. An approximate cost including shipping & spare parts for this system is about $4500-$5000NZD

By contributing even a couple of dollars you are helping me get a little closer to my goal. You are also helping a family suffering from the loss of a child to have that extra time with their child before he/she leaves for the heavens. you are doing something amazing and it truly is appreciated.

I am involved in this cause because I have so many friends who have suffered the loss of a child and only had very little time with their angel before having to say their final good byes. It's heartbreaking. With this cuddle cot these families will be given an extra 2-3days with their beautiful angel.

By getting this cuddle cot we are giving the gift of time, these families will get an extra few days with their Angels.

I just want to say a massive thank you to each and every one of you who have contributed to my fundraising. I'm stoked to tell you all that I have purchased the cuddle cot and now have it here with me. I have also managed to purchase a Moses basket & stand plus a petite size moses basket for a our smaller Angels. Everything is nearly easy for the official handover at Hutt hospital on 1st December :)
