Heartbreak losing life’s work
Waipaoa, Gisborne
On Valentine’s Day the cyclone hit and claimed the entire life collection of two prominent Gisborne musicians. Music is both Ben and Hiltons lives- they were avid collectors, creators and artists who are well known in our area. Both Ben and Hilton had their home, contents, studios, cars, livestock completely destroyed. It is so heart breaking seeing the sorrow of having your musical life literally floating towards you.
Whilst both Ben and Hilton had some contents insurance they haven’t enough to even cover their house contents let alone any musical gear. This is soul destroying to see.

Replacement of musical equipment so these two artists can go back to doing what they do best - writing, producing and preforming.

A huge thank you to all who have helped with this cause. The help has given two dedicated musicians hope for the future and reignited their love for music. It will not be stopped and the parties and mini concerts/ festivals/ recordings will make a come back!
