Will Stuff be topping up the funds raised with the 33% charity tax rebate now or upon receipt of same post end of the tax year?

Stuff Limited

Kia ora Paul,

I am confirming, Stuff has no intent to claim a tax credit for these donations received.

Craig asks

When will this page end - I have a business that wants to contribute over a few weeks. Will it stay up for a while?

Stuff Limited

Hi Craig, our campaign ends on Friday or before that if we get to $4 million target earlier. The Red Cross appeal may run for longer, check out https://www.redcross.org.nz/support-us/our-current-appeals/new-zealand-disaster-fund/

Just realized part of funding goes to Red Cross. How are they involved in the recovery process. Will this funding for Red Cross be NZ based or to their World account. I donate to Red Cross appeal. For me my focus is here in NZ. What would the percentage split be.

Stuff Limited

Hi Doreen, thanks for getting in touch. The funds that go to Red Cross will support their response to Cyclone Gabrielle here in Aotearoa New Zealand. You can find more about that below. Ngā mihi.

Is it possible to add the Tararua District to your list of beneficiaries, they also declared a state of emergency. Also the Eastern area of Wairarapa has been hugely impacted by the cyclone aswell. Can both these areas be added, they need support also.

Stuff Limited

Hi Kelly, thanks for getting in touch and for your feedback. We’ll pass this on to the team. Ngā mihi.
