Cyclone Gabrielle crushed it

The devastation of Cyclone Gabrielle has left Jessica’s small beauty business in ruins, it was completely destroyed by a tree falling on her home studio.

“I sat down and cried! The sacrifices and long hours I had spent building my little business all came crashing down.. literally! I thought this is it, it’s over. My youngest wrapped his arms around me and said you’ll be ok! I can help you mum. At that moment I realised that this was my opportunity to be a role model to my two children, that when you get knocked down, that with hard work and determination I can rebuild this and start over.”

Jessica is well loved in her community, always willing and happy to help others. She juggles two jobs and is a single mother of two. She was so proud of her business, she always mentioned how much she loved it and how rewarding it was for her to help others. Jessicas work includes permanent makeup services, specialising in paramedical areola 3D tattoo, nipple & areola correction and being a talented makeup artist. She has always loved helping her clients with self-confidence and making them feel their best.

Unfortunately, Jessica had no insurance on her gear and the studio.
