Cyclone Gabrielle - Help the Helper - Vehicle for a Rescuer

You have probably heard about the absolute devastation caused to Hawkes Bay during this Cyclone. Power is still down in many places, homes destroyed, lives lost. Janene is a single Mum living in Napier. She has been a volunteer Marine search and resuce for 15 years now. She works as a gardener, but forgoes her paid work every time a rescue call comes in. She has been working tirelessly from the first minute of this cyclone Gabrielle crisis, putting herself in danger to help those in need, out there on the front lines. Doing everything she can to rescue those in crisis. Her own home still doesn't have power. She uses her own resources in her volunteer work, including her mum-van which is now on it's last legs. She is the only female skipper in Hawkes Bay and is often on the ocean in dangerous conditions just to save members of the community in trouble. I started this give a little page to get this unsung hero a vehicle she can use day to day and also in her rescue missions.
