Cyclone Gabrielle Farmer’s supporting other farmers Fly strike treatment and prevention

Tutira, Hawke's Bay

Cyclone Gabrielle has wreaked mass destruction on my Tutira farmer friends. Not only have they lost a loved member of their family in an unthinkable slip, they have also lost a good portion of their farm.

The excessive rain has caused the dip to become ineffective and the flies are striking the sheep. They need dipping again, but on farm products not suitable as slips prevent sheep getting to the woolshed and there’s no power so pour on is required at considerable expense to save their sheep

Use of funds

The money raised will go towards paying for a 20 litre drum and 5 litre pack of Encore Zapp pour on (pour on dip to prevent fly strike on sheep)
