Cyclone Gabrielle: Support our veterinary teams

$21,355 donated
Given by 65 generous donors in around 6 months

Official fund for veterinary professionals working hard to treat the thousands of animals injured or displaced by Cyclone Gabrielle.

Nationwide

The devastation caused by Cyclone Gabrielle has been heartbreaking to see. Thousands of animals have been injured or displaced by the floods. Our veterinary teams are doing all they can to treat them with limited resources, power and communication lines.

Veterinary professionals do not receive any government funding so they are providing support and care to animals and their guardians at their own cost. Many of them are also coping with personal losses and stress relating to the cleanup.

Please consider donating to support veterinarians and their teams at this difficult time.

Use of funds

Funds will be used to support veterinary professionals impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle. Money raised will help cover travel costs for individuals volunteering their time, as well as wellbeing support for veterinary professionals and their teams.

Thank you for the support you are providing to the animals and guardians affected by Cyclone Gabrielle. This is an awesome cause and we have loved fundraising to support a cause close to our hearts, as we have colleagues, family and friends who come from the Hawke's Bay region. All the best with your further recovery efforts! Ngā mihi nui, Assurity Consulting Christchurch
