Cyclone Recovery Help for Hawke's Bay Mushers

DMNZ (Distance Mushing NZ) is a sled dog club in NZ. We are reaching out particularly to the NZ mushing community to raise funds to help support mushers and their dogs in Hawke's Bay who have been affected or displaced by Cyclone Gabrielle.

We know we have 2 mushers currently in rural areas who are cut off, one we know will be cut off for months before road access is restored. We have set up this Give A Little Page in case anyone is in a position to make a small donation towards supplies for our affected HB mushers and their dogs, especially those who will be isolated for an extended period. With current supply routes impassable we feel the best way to support our mushers is to gather financial resources so we can send supplies to them when we are eventually able to get access. This is going to be a long-term effort, and any support will be greatly appreciated.
