Damon's 30th funds

If you’ve spent any time with Damon in the last decade, you’ll know he has a thing for mountains... He’s biked, hiked, ran (a marathon), snowboarded and climbed up and down countless metres.

In March of this year, Damon and I travelled to Nepal where we trekked the Langtang Valley and summitted above 5000m. Whilst this was perfectly enough for me, I could see it was the beginning of another mountain related love for him.

Everyday life in Queenstown means being surrounded by some pretty awe-inspiring athletes some of whom, Damon has been lucky enough to meet and even work with. People who have introduced him to the possibility of reaching new heights of his passion through mountaineering (pun intended).

As with most hobbies, mountaineering is not cheap. But I could think of no better way to celebrate this charming, crazy boy’s 30th birthday than helping him achieve his goals. So I’m asking for any contributions to his gear funds that you might offer, big or small. I know it would mean the world to him that the people he loves, helped him get up there safely.
