Davey
1 March 2023Hi everyone..
1st of March 2023.. wow.. what a year already..
first of all thank you to all for the generous donations… now with the loss of our business this will help immensely…
Unfortunately we are no further along in our journey to diagnose Dave.. He is home now which we are grateful for but the pain gets extreme and we end up back in ED for the day and get sent home with another barrage of drugs for a few days.. the surgical and medical teams feel there is nothing else they can do for him at present. They have referred him to the pain team which could take up to 9 months!!! The private surgeon we have finally got a referral too was on the team that suggested he have a cortisone blocker put in his gut so he is also of no use to us a present as he suggests Dave needs to wait to see if it helps the pain which could take up to 6 weeks😳
We are in the process of selling our truck and anything else we don't really need so please if you see my posts, share away..
I know things are tough for alot of people out there at present and I have treid to support many myself, but if we could ask you all to keep sharing this for us, we will be eternally grateful🥹
Bless you all for your aroha for us❤️
I would really love to have this cheeky as dude back as in the pic❤️🥹

Hi Dave, Ihavent not a donation but really understand the road your going down. Diagnosed approx 12yrs ago as chronic pain, never found a cause by WHANGAREI AND AUCKLAND HOSPITAL. Eventually seen by Chronic Pain Team Whangarei and referred on by them to Auckland, what a joke is all I can say. Icould have been on slow release tramadol etc. It is a hard road to go down, once given a label of this. Iam on my own as many dealing with this cond,no-one understands as Ilook well. Ijust take natural products to keep well. So dont relye on expecting much from Chronic Pain Team, First start when you see them gives you hope thats for sure. Good luck going ahead. Hopefully its different for you. They are all good at prescribing meds with horific side effects. Nurses were fantastic and understanding.
