David Bowen is undergoing chemotherapy following removal of a brain tumor. David is managing to work 2 days a week for now but with Christmas approaching, finances are very tight. David, Kirstin and their 3 children are not the sort to ask for help. With two incomes and a mortgage, David and Kirstin where just barely getting by as young, hard working families do. But now with David's income cut to less than half, important expenses like a school laptops, mortgage payments and even groceries and clothing have created a budget that just doesn't balance. The last thing the Bowens need is for Kirstin to get sick from worry. We are not talking about holidays or dinner parties but just money for necessities and maybe some Christmas presents for the girls. The little ones especially are struggling to understand why life has changed so much.
Kirstin is my work mate at Schneider Electric. She never has anything but a smile on her face. David is facing a huge battle with cancer and many of us are looking for a way to help. As Christmas approaches, here is a chance to do a random act of kindness.
