David’s Bucket List Adventure while he still can

  • Updating the goal for our next adventure

    Hey team I just posted an update on why we have added to the goal. As the time is now for him to tick things off his bucket list. This will help us towards having positive adventures to plan and look forward to after our down south roadie.

    Thank you for those who have donated we appreciate all your support. We didn’t think we would hit our goal.

    I wish I had the funds myself to take him anywhere he wanted in this life. He deserves so much happiness with everything he has been through. He is a warrior inside and out.

    With your amazing support we are able to travel a little further and have a larger room at most locations which is handy for the wheel chair and other equipment we need to take with us on our down south journey.

    David has an appointment with his Auckland Hospital Team coming up for reassessment. It has been so long since he was taken off the active waitlist. Hopeful for the outcome of this to be positive with him being re-listed.

    While we try not to think about it too deeply and get obsessed with ‘what if they say no’. We will keep planning our trip and our adventures. We put so much on hold while being on the waitlist prior for just over a year. We would be like ‘what if we get the call!’

    The time is now to explore and be present in everyday life.

    I will raise the goal to help with the next trip too, as there is still so much to see in New Zealand. He cannot travel overseas as flying too high is not an option. So NZ here we come. This is our time to be together.
