Hello everyone! Thanks for all the donations so far and sorry there haven't been many updates. My sister underwent her spinal surgery in October 2017 and unfortunately things went very wrong. Thirty percent of the nerves in my sisters back were cut and this has left her without control of her bowels and bladder. Mum's cancer has unfortunately progressed much more rapidly than we would like and she is currently undergoing a 5 day run of radiation in her lumbar region to help deal with pain :)
Hello everyone! Thank you so much for all your help! We are amazed by the generosity! Things are moving along, my sister now has a surgery date which is great news but mum's kidneys are suspected to have cancer in them. An X-ray was also recently done and it showed a lump in mum's jaw as well as holes in the bones. This is quite an advancement and we're a bit freaked out but taking it one day at a time.
