    With one week left before Destinys givealittle page closes I just wanted to reflect and take a minute to send a heartfelt thankyou to each and everyone of you that has played a part in this journey. 360 days ago we got the awesome news that Destiny had been accepted for surgery in the States....never in my wildest dreams did I think that in less than a year not only would we have managed to raise the $100,000 to get over there we would of actually raised the money and extra for therapy and actually been over had the surgery return home and be doing intense therapy. The last year is like a dream and we couldn't of done it without each and everyone of you that in some way helped us, you may of donated you may of shared our story you may of helped at a fundraiser you may of baked you may of donated items you may of just told someone a little bit about Destiny....whatever it was we thankyou from the bottom of our hearts. There are way too many people to thank individually but just know.......a year ago a little girl was offered a chance, a chance to walk...and YOU were part of making that dream come true!!! We love you for that. We are only $1960.00 off the $25,000 that we needed for her 2 years therapy .....it just proves.....dreams do come true.

    Thank you to each and everyone of u that helped make Destiny's dream come tru, without you all we couldn't of done it,and for that we will be forever grateful....we are currently in the States and Destiny has had her surgery...it is a long road from here for her with daily physio over here for the next month...then physio 3 to 4 times a week on our return home. Thankyou to all of u ...we have managed to make this happen for Destiny and give her a chance of walking unaided. Hopefully within 18 months and lots of hard work she will be taking those independant steps. Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts to those of you who continue to help us fundraise for the next 2 years of therapy as its not funded.Arohanui

    WHAT A DAY!!!!!!!!!! One mixed with so many emotions its hard to know where to begin. Firstly the overwhelming gratitude that I feel to each and everyone of you that has been on this journey with us...7 months ago this was all a dream and what we thought back then ...an unreachable goal....but as the journey progressed more and more amazing people jumped on board...those that helped those that shared and those that donated....without ALL of you we would not be here today. Words cannot express the sheer gratitude that I have for each and everyone of you....Destinys dream is coming true and whatever the outcome with surgery we made it, we have given Destiny the chance of a lifetime that she couldn't get over here. We will keep you updated right thru this journey thru her page. We will continue to fundraise for the aftercare once we return estimated at $25,000. But for now .....we will be on our way.....surgery is paid for, flights are booked and the rest will happen in the next week or so. So much to think of so much to organize and so much to do but step by step we will get there. We will leave in April with surgery scheduled for April 23rd..................from the bottom of our hearts we send the warmest thankyou to you ALL.

    Thankyou from the bottom of my heart to each and everyone of you whom has shared this fundraising journey for the last 7 months, words cannot express the gratitude I am feeling right now. Sooooo before people start questioning things......$100,000 will cover the cost of the surgery and follow up therapy over there, flights over for Destiny and me, accommodation for the 6 weeks we are away, insurance and food. IF we go over the $100,000 targeted amount, any extra raised will go towards the $25,000 that we need for aftercare therapy. We are not entitled to any extra therapy on our return as its selective surgery. So this will cover a physio to work with Destiny for the next 18months on intensive therapy.

    We are sooooooo super excited right now as well as anxious and nervous. We have been offered a date for surgery...23 April 2015....its sooner than we thought and while we are super excited and hope we can accept it we first need to come up with the last $13,000. We know we can do it ..look at the amazing support we have had so far....so PLEASE please continue to share Destinys story wherever you can and help us reach our $100,000 target in the next 2 months so we can go in April. Thankyou everyone.

    Hi all Have just added flyer about a great fundraiser happening tomorrow at Muzzbuzz Manukau(behind Briscoes on Lambie Drive) from 10am till 2pm jumpy castle and facepainting, also $1 from all tall or large drinks will be donated to Destiny. Come along and support us.

    Wow... thankyou so much to everyone that is getting behind us and making Destinys dream come true. We will be having regular fundraisers along the line also so will post updates of those on here also. So far we have had a clothing and bake sale and a quiz nite and a raffle.
