Mugello Race Track - Italy 10th October 2016
24 November 2016What Dillon thought of Italy & the Mugello Racetrack, on the 10th October 2016
He was on the King Racing Team Kawasaki for the practice
BUT he will be racing his own Aprilia RSV4 R-FW next season with help from the KRT racing team.
What a experience this weekend has been !
Riding a foreign bike on a foreign track with a bunch of fast Italian racers was incredible !!!
Mugello is amazing and so many blind corners so you have to really be on your game !
Takes a lot more than 10 laps to get use to !
My first session was great with just getting use to the bike and finding my way around the track
(it was nothing like what I've watched on tv).
My second session was betting with dropping my times and getting more consistent.
My 3rd session I had a low slide in between turn2 & turn3 which caught me by surprise as I hadn't pushed any harder than the lap before
but we got it fixed and out for the last season which was a race with a rolling start,
I managed 15th out of 45 riders in the field and improved my times again with very consistent lap times and sector times.
The teams' Kawasaki bike is very different to the Aprilia, so that was hard to get use to but
I really enjoyed the bikes performance !
The team KRT Racing are outstandingly good and I look forward to working with them next season on my RSV4 Aprilia !
But for now its really time to promote this for next season !
Thanks to KRT Racing for this opportunity, I am really grateful !
Also a huge thanks to everyone who has donated to this championship season.
You all are amazing people, you all have helped my team, we have $30,000 so far, so please spread the word and help me reach my target of $100,000 so we can focus on a fabulous season.
Remember every little donation goes a long way.
