It’s been a while since we’ve posted an update here and we have a few things to share as to where your contributions went to. We are now here, in Ukraine, and able to assess the situation on the ground. What we are seeing is horrific and very sad.

    We appreciate all your support.

    1. Living Expenses and food covered for 2 families for two months - they have lost their jobs in war because the companies went bankrupt.

    2. Medication sent to the front line by friends of ours - going direct to Mariupol, Mykolaiv.

    3. House Renovation for a refugee family to move in.

    4. Weekly food delivery to old people who cannot afford food.

At the beginning of the war, there was a food shortage and now the food started to come through but it is sometimes three times more expensive than it was. A lot of older people cannot afford it at all.

    6. Soup Kitchen is still running daily (feeding refugees)

    7. Support for Medical Supplies and hardware to frontline personnel - this is a new connection of volunteers that are driving vehicles to the war zones.

    With love,

    Tatiana and Steven

We want to say thank you to everyone who has donated. Our hearts are broken with updates from home, but we see the light through our community in Ukraine and through the unity of people.

Here is an update on where your contributions have gone.

    1. Soup Kitchen running daily (ongoing) - feeding every day around 20 families of refugees and elderly people who can’t provide for themselves right now. Also, feeding soldiers that are on the watch.

    2. About 50 families have got diapers and baby formula (this includes refugees and families who can’t afford to buy or find the supplies)

    3. Border crossing - feeding refugees at the borders of Ukraine-Romania

    4. Maternity Ward (ongoing) - baby food, medication, diapers (and formula for premature births).

We’ve connected with orphanages and smaller communities that are not getting mainstream support, and this is where your future funding will be going. We have contacts in Romania who help us get the supplies into Ukraine.

We will be heading to Ukraine at the end of April to help on the ground.

    Thanks again for your support!
