    With a final heavy heart - Dixie today passed over the rainbow bridge - today was the day he was going to have his hip surgery. All was going well but Sadly today Dixie said he had enough and passed away.

    I can’t thank everyone who donated enough and the vets for the care and efforts.

    Dixie was much loved, he never complained and appreciated everything. He was definitely a true fighter. Dixie you have left a huge imprint in my heart. Love you. 🧡💔

    The funds will be to cover the costs of surgery’s he have had and now for his cremation and Urn.

    Little Dixie had a update with Vet at the specialist, 4 weeks post patella as he was not putting weight on his leg. Worried pin was broken. But they confirmed his hip is getting worse and we have confirmed hip surgery will be done but will wait till he is post patella. 4 more weeks and we go back to specialist again for another set of X-rays to see how he is all healed.

    Dixie is needing to go back to the vets, as he was recovering well but now has gone down hill abit with no walking now and just wanting to sleep. So bad on pain medication and back to specialist next Wednesday (18th sep) to see if his surgery went okay or if it’s hit hip that’s the issue.
