The poorest of the poor, the old and weak women and children in Monze should be identified and be serviced by this program.

I come from Zambia. Zambia is a land locked country. I am an immigrant form Zambia living in Auckland. I am a trained nurse and currently working at Auckland City Hospital, Auckland.

I have been working as much overtime as possible to support my family and the people affected by the drought in my village. This year Zambia is hit by a drought. The natives only hope is the rain to cultivate their crops, with no rains this year, people are starving and dying of hunger.

I'm making a humble appeal to help my family and the people that are affected so badly in any form. This assistance will go directly to the people affected to sustain their well being and provide food in this harsh and unforgiving environment.

Munamwala Village is a small village near Monze with a population of approximately 150 who are facing water crisis and starvation ironically what seems to be the food basket of Zambia. This is the second year back to back to back the village is hit by drought due to poor rains.

Government interventions and other efforts to arrest this situation are minimal leaving the families to resort to hunting and gathering wild fruits, roots and foodstuffs in a dehumanised fashion. This is resulting in vicious cycle of starvation, hygiene, disease resulting in death.

Any donation received will be distributed to the needy.
