Dragon for Christchurch
Fund raising for the purchase and transportation of a Chinese Dragon Dance Costume to Christchurch.

We are a Lion Dance team in Christchurch and have been performing and promoting our art since 1994. We have been a part of the instrumental part of the annual Christchurch Lunar New Year Parade since its inception in 2017. As we also do dragon dance and since 2024 is the year of the Dragon we are getting a brand new dragon dance costume to the 2024 parade - Year of the Dragon Parade on 4 February. This dragon will be the first traditional southern style dragon and wil be the longest in the South Island. It will be making its journey from China soon, so be a part of the backers that will help bring our dragon home!
