Duncan's house fire

On Sunday night, Duncan lost almost everything when a devastating house fire completely destroyed the inside of his home. Thankfully, he is safe, but the damage has left him with the heartbreaking task of starting over.

This home wasn't just a house. It had a deep personal meaning to him. He purchased it from his good friend after they passed away, making it a place filled with memories and connection. To see it so badly damaged is a loss that goes far beyond bricks and mortar.

While the house itself is covered by insurance, there was no contents insurance. As a result, almost all of his personal belongings have been lost, including furniture, clothing, household essentials, treasured keepsakes, and the everyday items most of us take for granted.

As he works through the insurance process and finds temporary accommodation, he is facing the enormous challenge of rebuilding his life from scratch. The costs of replacing basic household items and personal belongings quickly add up, and any support will help ease the burden during this incredibly difficult time.
