    Sunset: 11/04/2024

    Loving husband to Jahna. Father to his 4 beautiful girls and sons (deceased).

    Son of William Tauranga, Lillian Taylor, Cheryl &Arthur Kinley. Brother, nephew, uncle (doof doof) and cousin to many.

    He fought a very hard battle to the bitter end and proved anythings possible. Please watch over our babies and whanau Hun. Moe mai ra MyLove.xx

  • Seizure and time..

    Kia Ora whanau..

    Just thought I would update u all on the haps for MyLove. We are currently back in hospital due to him having a seizure at work. His tumor marker is now over 23000 so sad to say the chemo pill he was prescribed is not working so we are to stop it immediately.

    After discussion with the oncology team and doctors, we are to restart his dexamethazone to try reduce the swelling so he (hopefully) doesnt have another seizure and it slows down the pressure on his brain from the 3 inoperable cancer tumours to enable him as much time with us as possible.

    He deffinately will not be seeing the whole year through we have been told (i cant stand doctor advice) so we need to make the most of his time here with us ASAP. I will keep bumping both raffles to try sell these out and his givealittle page so he can at least take the kids to the sky tower one weekend like he promised. If you can please share them out or w.h.y that would be AWESOME for him.

    Its hard to get my STUBBORN husband to smile and laugh lately. He has come to terms that he may not see our kids grow but he secretly has his cries. Im so proud of MyHun and how hard hes fought and looks like our wedding re-do he wants is either guna b a big feed or whanau gathering.

    First off - Happy Valentines Day! 😊

    Yesterday we met with Adrians doctor and he has only been given MONTHS to live. He can feel it in his body already as it is mamae as but hes still getting up everyday and heading off to work like the thriving tane he is. My bestfriend, soulmate, husband and life partner is slowly losing his battle against the ugly Cancer! 😭🤔 His doc said we may not see the year through so were guna live everyday as if its our last 😭 please send ur prayers and healing hands this way so our Papa can stay with us and prove those doctors wrong! We love u hun. Were with u 100%. Love always and fordever, ur wifey and babies.xx❤️❤️

    Kia Ora whanau..✌️Just a bit of an update for u all. On xmas day we have to travel up to Auckland Hospital to do chemo from 26th-30th.

    This chemo treatment will be his last. Sadly we have found that it was shrinking BUT also spreading to other parts of his body. Because he has Metastatic Choriocarcinoma, the chemo just bought us a bit of time. So from next year onwards, he will have regular blood tests and CT scans to HOPEFULLY stay on top of it. Because his cancer is a rare form; theres not much they know about it. Apparently only 1% out of 10,000 males get it! 😥

    Were not happy either so this new year is all for us and family time. As broke as we will be for this, Im guna make sure that even movie nights are worth it. We will relay our wedding and vowels sometime next year BUT we need to get our head around this first. From being told he wasnt guna wake up, then no brain activity to waking up then being told he wouldnt walk or talk...he seemz to be fighting all odds and kicking their words in.

    Sooo.. as of today, my kids are spending time with their papa while I still go to mahi koz lets face it, bills still need to be paid and ive had 16years compared to their 4-14. Holidays for them have started! 🤙

    Trying to return to the normal atmosphere while all the bills are piling up and travelling to and from chemo every 3rd week is becoming bit tight BUT, were holding on. So far, walking miracle but budget has become a little on the low side. Xmas prezzie money has gone out the window so slowly trying to work towards our kids having an xmas.

    Chemo is slowly shrinking all tumor markers but some are causing regular hospital visits due to 'popping' cancer spots. Lets hope we have a better bit of news after new years to carry us on through it all..

    Only took 6years ay MyLove. Thru thick &thin, for better for worse, for richer, for poorer. Got u MyHun.. Alwaes &fordever. We did it! 😭❤️❤️ Thank you to Daniel Taylor &Ngaio for paying for pree much everything, Ianna Tauranga & Mum Lillian Wikitapu Waikari for sussing the computer savy things, the brothers for standing by mylove &all of us and dad &my brotha inlaw Tuhoe for giving me away.. love uz.xx

  • 7th October update

    update: MyLove has quite a bit of fluid around both lungs now so keeping him in an induced coma is the go for now.. there is minimal space for oxygen for him to breath on his own. he keeps trying to wake to look at the gurls and often smiles and frowns and grabs my hand. Hes fighting like he promised! Will keep everyone updated when we know more but for now its touch and go. onwards and upwards Babe.

    Ok.. i wasnt going to put these up but I feel the whanau need to know wat point were at now.

    Im at a place where my kids need to distract me at night and I need to be with MyLove everyday to undergo his chemo while he is in an induced coma. Yes, things turned to custard today BUT were guna beat it. Hes guna get all the chemo he needs while he has a proper rest and hes guna wake up healthier then when we came in. It can take days, weeks or even months BUT he WILL wake up and hel cum home to me &our babies. After all..he promised and MyLove NEVER breaks a promise 😭😭

    See you in the morning babe. Promise! For now, Ima cuddle our babies til I cant cuddle nemre.x❤️❤️😴😴 Love you then, Love u still, Love you FORDeva more 🤙🤙

  • 3rd October Am Update

    Update: Had chest scan and doc visits this morning.

    2nd day of chemo. Started 2 hours ago. Lot of fluid in and around his right lung so if they need to, they will put a breathing tube down his throat and continue to give him chemo through his lure. Hes finding it hard to breathe still so the oxygen levels are stable atm to help him. No sleep during the night now I feel like my eyeballs are popping out of my head. MyLove kept trying to fall asleep but got scared that he wouldnt wake up so hes just as tired as me. Hoping for a better day today and that it doesnt come to needing a tube. Couple more hours of chemo yet. 🤞

  • 2nd October Afternoon Update

    Chemo has stopped for tuday whanau. He took a bit of a turn for the worst. Will be transferred to ICU under watchful eye for cuply days but they will come to his room tomoro and continue chemo. He has a ruptured cancer spot in his right lung tht is bleeding so hes high on morphine and has an ecg etc hooked up 24.7 and is on oxygen.

    1st full on day of chemo.. started round 8am. My Loves bit tired so il let em sleep. He keeps wanting food tho 🤦‍♀️🤣 the biscuits in here tuday are home made and he keeps tryna get me to pinch heaps lol. So far, so gud.. well get thru it. #positive

    Kia Ora whanau..

    Sooooo.. update. MyLove is starting his chemo tumoro. Then from Monday 2nd October he will be having 5 days of treatment. The following week will be 1 day and the following after that will be 1 day. They will carry this on for 4 cycles and HOPEFULLY it would have shrunk to very minimal or all gone.

    However, there is another part on the top of the brain that they hadn't removed as the one removed was already high risk and a bit bigger then they thought. They told me the flash name for the cancer which I have already forgotten BUT, we now know what it is and where it has come from.

    After this, we may not be able to have anymore pepis so were counting our blessings with the 4 babies we already have ❤️ IVF is bit dear at 10k (which we dont have) so were okay with the girls.

    I might be able to go home this avo to see how the girls are and sort the whare back to ship shape and give our Brutus Gage a rest on her bday lol.. HOPEFULLY anyway IF they let me out of isolation 🤦‍♀️🙄

    But thats where its at atm and they said chemo is going to be the best chance for us to get rid of all or most of the cancer floating around his body. Fingers and toes crossd! 🤞🤞

    Finally touched down in TGA Hospital BUT were in isolation atm 🤦‍♀️ not winning no matter wea we go! Guna be a loooooonnnggg night. Just waiting for main doctor to come around so we can start our chemo plan. Bit tired but gotta do wat we gotta do!
