Economic Crisis in Sri Lanka – Let’s extend our helping hand to save lives

Nationwide

As you all know, Sri Lanka is facing an unprecedented economic crisis that has never been seen before. It has come to a critical stage with the country not being able to service its foreign debts. Furthermore, no foreign reserves are available to import essential oil, gas, food, fertiliser and medical needs.

Our country needs all the help we can offer at this stage. We, New Zealand Sri Lanka Buddhist Trust, have decided to launch a fundraising project to purchase and supply essential life-saving medical supplies to Sri Lanka. Please donate your contribution so that we can make this a successful fundraising campaign and help save lives in Sri Lanka in this hour of need.

Funds we collect will be used to purchase essential life-saving medicine, which is in short supply and be channelled directly through to hospitals in Sri Lanka.

Please come forward and make your generous assistance to make a positive impact on our people’s lives.

Open to everyone, and even the smallest donation will make a difference.

Thank you  8 December 2022

Thank you very much for all your support. Your generous donations have helped us to donate medical supplies of Rs 2.2 million to the hospitals in North Western Province in Sri Lanka. The Provincial Director of Health Service of North Central Province ordered the medicine, and we paid directly to the supplier.

Thank you very much once again for your generosity and support.

May you be well and happy!
