Edge Kingsland is heading to the studio for Vol 4 - and we need your help to make it happen!

Kingsland, Auckland

Edge Kingsland is heading to the studio to record our 4th worship album - "Edge Kingsland Vol. 4: Return to the Table". The funds raised here will be spent on studio time, recording and post-production costs to have this album recorded and ready for release.

Our worship music has always flowed from the stories, experiences and reflections from within our faith community. These latest songs were created in the midst of shared food, long stories and good company, and in the vulnerability that has come with letting ourselves be known. We have been profoundly shaped by the reality of how the divine is made known to us at the table of an ordinary life, a God who is experienced, sensed and known in genuine human experience, and in the eyes and faces of each other.

We gather around a common table where we find whānau and friends. They are the reflection of a God who knows us well. But we also seek to make room for those we do not know, and find that they too hold an image of God, one we may not have seen yet.

This is a celebration of life itself, an embrace of the ways that God is made known to us in the midst of beauty and tragedy, of joy and suffering, of earth and sky and sea, and of an open table that has room enough for more.

In helping to make this happen, you become co-creators in the formation of this worship album that honours what it is to be here, to be present to one another, to creation and to the divine.

About us

Edge Kingsland is a church community. We explore things that matter, eat together, have a laugh, write and sing songs together, and explore how meaningful faith impacts our honest experience. Heaven hides at the table of an ordinary life.

Update on Edge Kingsland Vol 4  10 September 2026

Kia ora koutou,

It's been a wee while since you heard from us - but we just wanted to post an update re: our fundraising for a new Edge Kingsland worship album. It has taken us a bit longer to raise the funds than initially anticipated, but the good news is that it looks like we have got there - and will be in the studio before the end of the year!

We are incredibly grateful to all of you who donated towards this project and we are so excited to bring this new collection of songs, a new crop of songwriters and musicians, and what we hope are melodies, words, heart and soul that will offer something of meaning in the current moment.

Thank you so much - we couldn't have done it without you!

Arohanui,

EK community
