  • Disability trailer update

    Hi folks, just wanted to let you all know that the trailer is going ahead and we now have all the parts other than a compressor, which is slow arriving from the suppliers. We will start the build in January and the first customers will have access later that month.

    Thank you all for your support and as we didnt raise as much as we needed I will cover the balance. However, there is no doubt we would not have made it this far without your generosity. I'll let you know what it looks like when we have the first prototype completed.

  • New design is developing

    An update for you who have supported us in our quest.

    Most of the parts we need that are imported have arrived and we can now start the chassis layout based on the existing trailer when we have room.

    I have attached a photo of the two trailers we are working on, which when complete in a few weeks will give us floor space.

    Another very important milestone is that we have had contact from two wheel chair users who have offered to collaborate and visit as we build out the first R&D trailer.

    The next step is to speak with the manufacturers and stockist of the electric wheelchairs to let them know what we are up to and see how they can contribute with dimensions, ideas for tie downs etc. If you know of anyone working in a field that could offer help in the redesign process, please let them know what we are up to and encourage them to give us a call.

    More to follow as we get a bit closer.
