  • March 2026 Update

    Hi All,

Just a small update on Eli, as it has been a while. March so far has been a big month for Eli, with some hard things but other great things.

Early in March, Eli went in for another procedure to get some more bone marrow and spinal fluid for testing. While he was under, they also inserted a more permanent Hickman line to be used for medication.

5 March - Eli had an appointment with his oncologist team. He is doing amazing, and we are very happy with the outcome of the tests. Some hope during this difficult time.

18 Mar - Eli finished his second cycle of Chemo. This round was an intense 8-day course with multiple chemo treatments per day. He responded really well to this and is currently in the supportive care period.

This round has been a bit more emotionally tough for Eli with a couple of down days to be expected, but he is navigating this like a trooper

To top this, a K-pop demon hunter party with Blip has raised additional funds for the Teo family - thank you to all who helped make this happen and for the financial donations.

Eli is also enjoying some quality time with his Ouma and Oupa, visiting from NZ to support Eti, Marietta and Isabelle. Eli has been enjoying his ouma's soup, and a few batches have had to be made already. (Photo included with his ouma and oupa)

Please keep them in your prayers, and any financial assistance is greatly appreciated.

  • Air Ambulance Tour

Earlier this week Eli was super excited to be invited by the amazing team of the Air Ambulance to come and view it.

He got taken up - and got some much needed Vit D and some sun - to the helipad and got shown around the Air Ambulance and even got given one of the lights they use to show where to land.

To top this, Eli was told if everything keeps going the way it does, he may be able to go home for a day or two before his next round of treatment starts. Something his whole family is very exicted for. Please continue to pray for him, and that all keeps going well to be able to go home for a day or two.

  • Hair Shaving Time

      9 February 2026

Our little champ dealt with his first 10-day chemo cycle like a warrior and came out smiling on the other side. Albeit side effects are showing, like hair loss, Eli is taking this all in his stride. He requested his hair to be shaven and is proud to now 'Look like daddy and Dwayne the Rock Johnson'.

Eli was placed under anesthesia the day after he finished the chemo cycle for a lumbar puncture and spinal tap to test these fluids to see if they are still cancer-free. While under, for these things, they also did a round of 3 different chemos just in case and to help prevent leukemia progressing to the spinal fluid that protects the brain.

Please continue to lift up the Teo's in your prayers for God's provision and protection.
