Emergency Vet care for Isla

It’s taken a lot of courage for me to write this, as I’ve never been someone who likes to ask for help. Unfortunately, my beautiful girl Isla recently had to undergo emergency surgery — a gastrostomy — to open and clean out her stomach.

While I don’t feel overly comfortable doing this, the reality is that the surgery, specialist medical team, medications, and her 4 days/nights hospital stay have left us with a very substantial vet bill. Isla has been through so much, and I’m incredibly grateful that she’s now on the road to recovery. 🤞
