Help us secure a specially adapted vehicle to empower Mia's independence and enable our whānau to share more moments together in daily life.

Kia ora! I’m Chonny, Māmā to three girls, including my bright and resilient 5-year-old daughter, Mia, who has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy. Mia’s journey has been one of determination and progress, and now, with your support, we’re aiming to secure a vehicle perfectly suited for Mia’s needs, her equipment, and allows our whānau to be more connected in daily life.
Mia’s condition affects her muscle tone, coordination, and motor skills, making tasks like sitting, standing, and walking without support extremely challenging. She relies on her powerchair and adults to explore her surroundings and be independent at school, but without an accessible vehicle, the chair has to stay there Mon-Fri, limiting her full participation in family and community life.
To transport Mia with her powerchair and other equipment like her walker and standing frame, and to keep her siblings comfortable too, we need a specially adapted vehicle, and we have found one! We’ve received a Lotteries grant to help with the cost,
Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward the purchase of this vehicle, empowering Mia to continue her journey toward independence and supporting our family’s ability to enrich her life.
Thank you so much for considering our story. Your kindness and generosity will truly make a tangible difference in Mia’s life - and ours - and we are deeply grateful for your support.

Any funds raised will go towards this and I will explore finance options to top-up/make up the difference as well.
