Help Empower young people to say No to Violence through Creativity, Confidence, and Leadership.
Hamilton, Waikato
No to Violence is a Community Education & Research Trust (CERT) initiative that empowers young people to stand against violence through creativity, leadership, and positive action. By encouraging empathy, respect, and understanding, the programme helps build stronger communities.
The programme makes a platform to deliver speeches, present short videos, display visual arts, and present creative writing. Creative Writing includes poems, free verse, short stories, and essays, giving every child an opportunity to express their ideas and talents.
Students will take part in workshops for public speaking and short video storytelling, where experienced mentors help them build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and share meaningful messages of peace.
Outstanding artwork and creative writing will be showcased at our celebration event, with selected writing published in a digital booklet.
Your donation will support mentoring workshops, learning resources, art supplies, certificates, prizes, venue hire, event coordination, and digital booklet production.
Every donation helps young people reject violence, embrace kindness, and inspire positive change.
Together, we can help the next generation say No to Violence.
Every gift helps young people choose kindness over violence. Your donation funds mentoring, workshops, art supplies, learning resources, prizes, celebration events, and a digital booklet inspiring hope and lasting change.
