Raising awareness and support that anyone living with a disability can achieve there dreams
Nelson
Our incredible 8-year-old girl Ellie who has Down syndrome is breaking barriers in Marching NZ. We are launching a campaign to help Ellie and her team compete at the South Island Champs and Christchurch Champs in 2024. Join us in making history with Ellie!
About Ellie:
Despite her challenges including hypertonia, delayed speech, and cognitive difficulties, Ellie's determination and spirit shine through. Marching has brought her immense joy and a sense of belonging.
Ellie's Team: Ashton Kilties Marching
Coaches and the dynamic team of U13 girls are thrilled to support Ellie's journey. Ellie's participation in marching marks a historic moment for inclusivity with Marching in NZ as the first girl with Down Syndrome to participate!
We aim to raise funds to support Ellie, her support carer with accommodation, travel expenses, competition fees etc. For both events
By supporting Ellie and her team, you become a part of something truly special. Your contribution will help raise awareness about disabilities, foster inclusivity, and create a lasting impact on the lives of these remarkable young individuals. Your support will not only enable Ellie to participate in the championships but also inspire countless others facing similar challenges to pursue their dreams fearlessly!
Your donation, big or small, will have a significant impact on Ellie's life and the lives of those around her. Let's show Ellie that she has a community standing behind her, cheering her on every step of the way.
Ellie is my daughter
All funds go directly to pay for Ellie's flights, accommodation, food, travel to and from stadiums, car hire, petrol and hopefully a trip to rainbows end after national championship!
