Empowering Parents and Infants through Art and Connection

Join me on this journey to empower new parents through enhanced connection by understanding the language of their infants from day one and to enrich the lives of infants through vibrant art.

As an artist and a new mother to a lively two-year-old, I’ve spent over a decade balancing part-time artistic pursuits with office work. However, life recently put me onto a new path. Earlier this year, I was made redundant from my stable office job. Now I am focusing on two related projects.

First, “Sensory Bonding,” is a book for parents and infants, already available in English on Amazon and select Wellington businesses. It’s a magical journey that redefines bonding time and combines it with my vibrant original artwork and practical advice for new parents. I’m planning a more durable edition for little fierce fingers and a German and Spanish version to reach out to more families.

Second, I’m in the process of becoming New Zealand’s first Dunstan Baby Language (DBL) educator. DBL, a method based on five distinct baby sounds that are produced by bodily reflexes, was a game-changer for my family. Our son had a problem with wind and colic and knowing exactly how to respond, knowing when to burp or when he wanted to feed, or sleep, improved everything. I aim to help others understand their babies’ cries and enhance their bond.
