Hey there! This is our last update since this page is closing soon.
Erin is coming up to nine weeks post-surgery and everything is going well. The recovery has been good and she is now pain-free and medication-free. Eating no longer hurts, and her legs are no longer purple/sore/numb!
She will soon be starting a pre-nursing course and plans to study nursing next year.
Surgery was absolutely the best (only) option for Erin. We were fortunate to find a good surgeon in Aussie, rather than having to travel further afield.
It is our hope that, in future, there will be better understanding of this condition, and that treatment will become more accessible.
Thanks for the amazing support for Erin. We are really happy for her and proud of the resilience she has shown.
