Help my Ukrainian family to escape
Bay of Plenty
Unfortunately, my family are badly affected by the Russian invasion as they live in the south of Ukraine. My parents' village has been bombed so badly they had to leave our family home behind. My younger sister was evacuated at the beginning of the war to live with my older brother and his pregnant wife (baby is due in June) and their son in a small cottage outside Zaporizhzhya. My younger brother is now in the west of Ukraine hoping to leave before he turns 18 in June, otherwise he will not be able to leave the country and must fight.
I was able to apply for a Special Ukrainian Visa for my parents, my brothers, sister, sister-in-law and nephew. They can come to New Zealand and be safe here. The only problem now is money for tickets and basic living needs for the first month, until they will start work and get their first wages. Unfortunately, I can't afford it so had to reach out here hoping I can get a help!
