Docs say Es needs eye surgery

  • eye op. check.

      11 May 2015

Thank you God! eye appointment went well for Es today. they toughened up his cornea to stop it bulging out at weak spots. The doctor was really good at explaining things and answering questions and turns out his eyes weren't as bad as originally thought. so hopefully the right eye is fixed now and just keep an eye on the other one hopefully it won't get worse so won't need treated. Es did really well. so now apart from a couple follow up appointments to check healing progress we can enjoy our time in the garden city!

Thank you all for making this possible!!!!!!!!

      10 May 2015

Soooo we go to Fendalton eye clinic tomorrow, for consultation and possible procedure to stop progression of disease in Es' eye. Nerves are happening. SO Glad we know God's going in with us. Thanks to everyone who made it possible for us to get to this point, to get the 1st eye sorted, all the ways you have helped we really appreciate. And we appreciate your continued thoughts and prayers.

  • wow you guys are generous

      27 April 2015

Es and I have been soo amazed at the generosity of all of you!.

The amount given to this point will pay for our flights to Christchurch and the 1st procedure to save the better of Esra's eyes, the procedure is called corneal crosslinking and is supposed to stop that eye deteriorating any further.

The other eye requires a different procedure to reverse the deterioration that has already occurred. After that we'll need to get Es new glasses.

Thank you so much for all your support
